October was still nice and warm here in Minnesota on our planting day. Each of our 41 kindergarten students had the opportunity to pick a Red Emperor tulip bulb to be planted. They discovered the pointed end of the bulb, planted it, gently covered it with soil and gave it a good watering. We are anxiously anticipating our tulips emerging in the spring of 2015!
