Adult Monarchs were hugging the sand dunes along the coast of Salter Path/Indian Beach heading South. I counted 35 in under an hour and they were steadily coming all weekend. It was windy and they were headed into it. I did not see one in Goldsboro this year so it was an amazing sight as they lighted on the golden rod and blanket flowers.
