I have not seen any in the trees in the morning, and they show up when the sun hits the pride of Madera mid-morning. I’m continuing to have 10 to 20 individuals daily. Perhaps worth noting that yesterday a couple of the Monarch’s appeared to be much larger than (maybe 20% larger) the others. I looked to see if they might be swallowtails, but to my eye they were not. Do not seem to be here today. Also today the Monarch’s are spending more time in the mid-canopy of the eucalyptus trees, and are flying around the property more.
