Retrieved one female monarch from ground. Wind was gusting to 20+ mph. She appeared weak and cold but alive. Flowers here are pretty much spent so I fed her sugar water which she readily took from a teaspoon. Released her after she warmed up and could fly but am not sure whether she'll make it to Mexico given our distance from Mexico.
