Our second grade classroom planted 23 tulip bulbs this morning. It was 43 degrees and windy. That made for a very cold morning! While we were planting, we noticed lots of birds near our classroom bird feeders, and we even saw two cranes fly overhead. They were headed south! We have lots of things we wonder about tulips and are planning to test some of these out with experiments. We will plant those soon. The other second graders in our school are also going to be planting tulip bulbs soon.
