Warm balmy day with slight breeze. About 11AM in front yard area. Sight adult Monarch dipping and soaring, lighting on my huge basil bush (with scores of bees)sipping either nectar or water from its tiny purple flowers. This Monarch was a rich deep orange with shiny black markings,. He/she appeared very healthy.
