Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/29/2014

Number: 500

I am seeing several hundred monarchs as I drive thru our ranch in the afternoons. More today than yesterday. They seem to love the salvia. We are blessed to have had a little rain, so tanks are full also. We are located about 15 miles east of the Devils River State park. Beautiful to see so many. Last year here, very few. Not seeing them in waves as a about 5 years ago, but still many many more than last year. Will try to post a few pics tomorrow evening.
