15 Adult monarchs flittering in the yard. They are mating and laying eggs on the multiple areas of butterfly weed. I watch where a butterfly lands on a leaf and make a mental note. I look at the leaf and gather some of the eggs. I also am gathering some larva and brings them into the house to hand raise on washed and cleaned weed placed in small bottles. There are so many eggs in the yard I could never count them. Yesterday I gathered 15 larva in various stages of development. I do not have time to count all of this but I share my beauties with friends.
