Taking the point of the Schleicher County Courthouse (in Eldorado, TX) where the film crew had just spent the morning taking movies of large clusters and MANY monarchs, and the predicted flight path, given the wind direction and speed and their optimum 17° tacking into said winds, we headed south of Sonora to FM 189. Less than 3 miles down that road, which runs SW, we saw 100s of monarchs exactly where I'd predicted!

Editor's Note: The distance from El Dorado to the location of the sighting is about 40 miles.
