Loudonville Christian School had 23 fourth graders planting 23 Journey North Red Emperor tulips today in the Albany Heritage Area Visitors Center's heritage garden. While at the Visitors Center, they learned about the Dutch fur traders who took up residence here starting in 1624 and brought all their traditions including their love of tulips when they sailed from the Netherlands.
