I am saying hello to ask you what this butterfly is and what it is up to& why the dark outside. The bright orange only showed up once it opened. I was working under the spruce tree & suddenly it opened, otherwise I would not have seen it. This happened Aug 8, 2014. I hope both photos will help. One open & one closed attached here. I honestly don't know what I have sighted & only chose Larva sighted for lack of..............
