Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/31/2014

Number: 1

One female looking for nectar while heading south. She stopped and nectared on the few remaining walker's low nepeta blooms. I have more blooming flowers in another bed but it was well west of her location and she missed them. I hope she found the neighbor's zinnias that were closer to her path south.

She needs to really rush south now...possible freeze here on Sunday night according to forecast. I am worried that she will not make it before the cold weather catches her...and there are not many blooms left for her to feed on. Good luck and god speed little monarch!
