(Note: this butterfly is the same one reported in the earlier report today.) Forgot to mention in the prior post today that the butterfly sighted today totals number 35 for the year...that is 3 and a half times the total for last year(2013 total of 10)...I hope that the monarch population in Mexico this winter at least triples as well. I was very surprised to see this monarch...obviously the late spring probably caused a delayed migration by delaying the different generations.
