What a day!!! Before heading out of town we were driving just 2 blocks south of our home when I spotted an eagle on the ground under a large tree. My driver slowed & stopped so I could hopefully get a photo, which I did. This eagle was snacking on something right beside the street & right in town in my neighborhood! He had a white wing tag that had number 355 on his right wing. Later on that afternoon I walked to the spot & found residue from the prey & took a photo of that. We live just a block from the Rock River so often spy Bald Eagles & Turkey Vultures. (Later on the same day spotted eagles along river.
