I have over 40 Chrysalis in my backyard that have been in that form now for over 13 days now. There are even more that started to hang but never formed a chrysalis, and caterpillars that have stopped in their tracks on the plants still. I am concerned that the cold may have hurt them. Our temps got down to 46 last night.
Can I remove the chrysalis from the outside and bring them inside to warmer temps?
Also, if I get the caterpillars into warmer weather, will they "re-energize" themselves or are they dead? I cant tell if they have slowed down or died.
