The staff from Thanksgiving Point came to our school and met with all of the 3rd grade classes. They showed them a tulip bulb, the kids cut it in half and looked at all of the parts of the tulip. The students made a diagram in a booklet, and learned how to plant the bulbs. Then each class had the opportunity to go outside to plant their tulip bulb in the planter box. The students were so excited to be able to plant the tulip bulbs and look forward to watching them grow in the spring.
