Tulips PLANTED

Date: 11/12/2014

Number: 1

We planted our bulbs across our driveway above an old stone retaining wall. We dug up stones and cool artifacts, such as a penny from 1930, as we made holes for our tulips. To protect them from predators, we planted them in plastic pots. Then we covered them with soil. On top of the soil we laid fine wire mesh. We covered that with leaves and held it all in place with bricks. In spring, we will need to remove the mesh.
