We live in Carson Valley. Hawks migration into here for wintering.
Weekly we drive an 11 mile route, SR 88 south of Minden.
We count the hawks and kestrels as they increase along that route.
Summer numbers are 3 to 4 hawks.
Today we had 22 hawks mostly red tails and 7 kestrels.
