Wow! My husband and I counted 37 monarch larvae in the front west yard alone. Tomorrow I will check the milkweed plants in the sides and back yard. Most were medium length (3rd or 4th instar), but two looked about the size they need to be to pupate.

Now, if I can just keep the temperatures moderate...
