Signs of Fall

Date: 11/27/2014

Number: 1

Twelve separate vees of sandhill cranes flew over our neighborhood, around 11:30am, today. They were making a lot of noise, so the species ID is certain. These birds were flying up at 1000 feet AGL, or possibly a bit higher. The total number was between 100 and 200 birds. They were headed south.
