Astor House, a Holiday Independent Living Home, was invited to partner with classes at DoDEA Elementary School, Wiesbaden, Germany, in the Journey North Tulip program. Our project is headed by Edith Henson, whose daughter, Donna, teaches at the Wiesbaden School. On 11/10, our last pleasant day in November, 9 residents, (average age 80) planted 100 bulbs, anticipating both the sharing of information with our partner school and our enjoyment of our first blossom as Spring arrives here next April.
