Over the past week since a day long rain and until today's cold front, observed 3- 12 migrating Monarchs a day nectaring on still blooming Tropical milkweed. No signs of mating and no hint of ovipositing behaviour, except for one frantic female on 11/31...

A greenhouse for the potted MW was erected about a month too late on 12 Nov., and cuttings of unprotected MW should have been done before Halloween to prevent late season oopsies... now raising dozens of 4th/5th instars... will transport fliers south again, if necessary...
