We waited out unseasonably high temps in September and two weeks of heavy rain in early October. Then on the day we had planned to get our bulbs planted, we had high winds that took down trees and knocked the power out. But - neither rain nor sleet ...We got the bulbs planted that morning before we were sent home at noon!
