In Science Lab, the 4th grade students at Greensboro Day School planted Emperor tulip bulbs today. The temperature was 44 degrees F.and the winds were calm. It was a cool overcast day, and we had fun following the procedure for participating in the Journey North research project. We planted later than some in our area due to the instability of high and low temperatures in Greensboro. We hope the warm weather has passed and the bulbs will settle in for a long winter's nap! We are already looking forward to springtime!
