Tulips PLANTED
Sightings report image

Date: 12/04/2014

Number: 1

The Williamsburg Field School High School students planted 38 Red Emperor tulips in the Virginia Living Museum's Children's Learning Garden today as part of their community service. They planted in all 3 corners of a triangular bed as well as in the center, so we can compare differences in emergence and bloom among locations. Some tulips are being saved for spring programs and activities. Our Children’s Learning Garden began with Journey North tulips planted in fall 1998.
