Two monarchs still flying in the yard and reports of small numbers all around the greater Phoenix area. A late generation of egg laying in late October and mid November is now near the pupa stage with chilly nights. This year is going on record as the warmest ever recorded in the greater Phoenix area likely affecting the migration as well as fall breeding especially with our native evergreen milkweeds. http://www.wrh.noaa.gov/media/psr/FXC/files/WarmestJanToNov2014.png
