Hello. I have milkweed in my front yard. Over the last month I have noticed a large increase of caterpillars on the milkweed. I have brought approximately 25 chrysalids into the house to keep them from the cold nights and to let my kids watch them emerge and to release. I just watched an adult lay a few eggs on the milkweed today. One of it's hind wings was damaged. I also released 5 butterflies this week.
