In midmorning a couple of Monarchs were flitting around my flowers (milkweed, zinnias, pentas and vincas) for a while. Eventually one by one they left, heading northerly. One headed northeasterly towards some woods next to my house and the other, northwesterly towards the rest of the neighborhood. It was a pleasant day, sunny and about low 70's.
