We have quite a few ruby-throated hummingbirds, and I believe a number of Rufous hummingbirds as well. I have 4 Ruby-throated hummers that fight over my feeders. But we have quite a few more around the area.
The one in the photo refuses to give up even in the rain.A bit later, I saw it taking a nice shower in the rain and quite enjoying itself.
