Hummingbird Sighting
Sightings report image

Date: 12/28/2014

Number: 1

Our hummingbird is still visiting our feeder every day - but we have today made an exciting discovery! After taking some pictures with a better camera than the phone camera we used previously, we have found that we have an immature male caliope hummingbird! Weather has been mild for the past week or so here, no flowers blooming, but this little hummer visits our feeder from dawn to dusk. It's overcast today so you won't get much irridescence, but you can see the gorget of our little guy in the picture!
