I have 2 adult Monarch's that have decided to over-winter here. They are here everyday. Even with the few really cold nights we had a few weeks ago, they show up as soon as the temp gets above 50 degrees. I protected my milkweed plants from the frost, and they light on the flowers every so often. They are about the only flowers I have left. During the season, I "raise" Monarch's. This season I turned out over 100 butterflies. Just heard on our evening news tonight that they are trying to get the Monarch on the endangered species list.
