For the past 2 weeks in La Habra Heights on west side, ON Las Palomas Dr. every night 1000's of American Red Robins have decided to call this place their Winter home. They fly over our canyon between 4:30-5pm and Drop from the sky in groups of 20-200, and soar into dense trees to roost for the night to sleep. I have never seen such numbers of these birds before here. By 5pm I would say they are WELL into the 1000's, as they sleep and chatter all night.
