We are at 5000 feet here and the nighttime temps over the last week were in the single digits. There is snow on the ground. I was very surprised to hear a hummingbird while walking in my neighborhood today. Just as I spotted him in a tree, he took off. I wasn't able to determine what kind of hummer it was.
