This is a female Baltimore Oriole who stopped first on Jan. 1st, 2015. As it appeared she was going to stay awhile, we put out orange halves. She has loved them, so we have kept it up. She also liked our hummingbird feeders that were still up. Today is Jan. 15th and she is still here everyday, trying to shoo away other songbirds from the seed and suet feeders..in past years we would get the occasional female Oriole drop by around this time but never stay. The oranges have been the attraction this year!
