Bald Eagle

Date: 01/19/2015

Number: 1

At approximately 12:15 pm I was driving over the Chenango River on route 17 when I saw overhead an adult bald eagle flying northward above the west bank of the river. It had the distinct features; clearly defined white head, large brown wings and yellow beak. Unfortunately I was driving so I couldn't admire it too long. This was my first casual sighting in Binghamton having lived here the last 5 or 6 years.
