In the middle of the area where we planted, five shoots are starting to show. Those five shoots are the only ones that are out, and we are unsure when the others will begin. The weather is very cold and the ground had frost today. We think that the shoots have come out too early and wonder if the bulb(s) were planted too close to the surface.
