All Other Signs of Spring

A few weeks ago I reported a flock of Robins who were seen around out neighborhood. Today it was a flock of Cedar Waxwings. There were easily 200 scattered in the trees around our complex. One thing of particular interest was the fact that in the largest tree where there were at least 100 waxwings, there appeared to be two robins. On closer inspection, I saw that they were near a nest! There appeared to be no animosity between them. (I'm going out now to try to get a picture. If I do I'll post it later) Today the temps should reach about 65 with lots of sun for them to soak up before they continue north. A couple of years ago when I had three cedar trees in my back yard (they have since died) a flock of waxwings came and ate every berry on all three trees. It was very exciting because I had never seen one before. Do you suppose they remembered those trees?
