We have been seeing large numbers of robins Jan 2015 at our home in northern New Mexico. How odd! They usually are not here until late Feb. The weather here has not been bitter cold but we have had snow and then warmer muddy days. I watch them foraging in our compost pile in the evenings but they seem to do more arguing than eating. Lovely cheery birds but what are they finding to eat!
