I was standing out in the backyard when a monarch butterfly emerged from behind a bougainvillea, and paraded in a military fashion between our houses. He returned within the space of a few minutes proceeding to travel in the other direction. Shortly after, another resident viewer witnessed this same subject butterfly once again maneuvering around the corner of the houses and disappearing once ahead between the two yards, nevermore to be seen that day.
