I photographed on several days a robin catching fish in a creek in our nearby park. I am sure that you have never seen such a thing. This photo was taken at 0 degrees Fahrenheit!

I helped the robin a little by breaking the ice of the creek at the same spot every morning before my daily two-hour cross-country ski journey in the park. I found a robin at the ice-free hole every day for three days. The robin protected 'his' water hole and chased away all other robins coming close.
