I was up on a ridge line approximately at 300 feet. Near sunset, quite cold and windy. 4-6 robins were flying from the canopy of the forest down to a small stream. All seemed to be sunbathing as the sun was setting down behind the ridge line. Each one was either drinking, bathing, preening and a few were foraging in the leaves for food. As I blended into the area, ( I was about 30 yards from the streambed, where they seemed to gather- again staying in the sunshine. As I continued up the ridge to the top near 400 ft., at the top were a few berry bushes, that near 7 robins were foraging on berries. A beautiful bluebird joined in at the last minute. It was awesome to see this flock enjoying the sunshine, water and berries
