Good weather the past few days (70's) and took the opportunity to do some pruning and cleaning up. Was checking my milkweed (very sad looking from last Fall) turned and there was a monarch just hanging on Mexican Petunias---occasionally stretching his wings---but mostly just hanging---it had gotten cooler and milkweed was now shaded. Thinking it had just hatched.
