Keith Graves observed: "I went walking up Canoa Canyon, Elephant Head Mtn and saw a Monarch that I could ID as a Male in excellent condition. Male flew up into a small rocking canyon with “running” water and disappeared; primary flight direction was North." (Southwest Monarch Study)
