I observed the robins from my window yesterday,2/8/15, at 9AM. They were in our apple tree, pecking at the rotted apples still on it. I don't know if they had just arrived in the area, but the weather conditions here are perilous at this time of year. We have 10 1/2 inches of snow, and the temperature in this past week has ranged from -2 to a high of mid-20's. I could not get my camera in time, and I set out sliced apples, but we have had freezing rain and light snow since.
