Staff at the Virginia Living Museum report that the first Journey North tulips planted in the museum's Children's Learning Garden by Sandy Beamer's Williamsburg Field School class of grade 9-12 students emerged today. The Children’s Learning Garden began with Journey North tulips planted in Fall 1998. The average date of emergence from our data is February 9th. We're waiting to see how tulips in the 4 different locations in the bed will emerge in sequence.
