The robins have at last arrived. They are usually here the last of January.It seems to coincide with the last leaf falling from our hickory trees. They are busy as usual eating our palm berries and cherry laurel berries. They stopped next door for water at the neighbor's birdbath. They are chattering and flitting back and forth.
