heard crows out back going crazy. looked out and saw a bald eagle in a tree eating another bird. couldnt identify what kind of bird. i hope it wasnt our resident coopers hawk. was absolutely shocked. called my adult son to see this as a witness and he came out with binoculars. eagle finally flew off heading west with the crows loudly following. thought bald eagles were fish eaters. years ago in south boston there were only seagulls,pigeons, sparrows, starlings and blue jays. now we have mockingbirds, cardinals, hawks,mourning doves etc etc
