I observed 7 monarch caterpillars in the milkweed plants. I fed them until they became pupas and during February 6 have matured, become butterflies,and released. Five (5) survived and flew away and one died. I still have one pupa from 2/7 that has not matured yet.

I have several milkweed plants and have seen at least 3 monarchs coming to lay eggs on them.
