Robin (WAVE seen)

Date: 02/12/2015

Number: 300

Sat out front for two hours and could not count all the robins arriving from the southwest, landing in the pines in the vacant lots near me. Then they must communicate because many flew back over my roof to the fresh water pond to drink and then back to the trees. Quite a few were singing-- not just chirping!!! Being from the North I do not hear robins singing down here in FL.Later I sat around back to watch the sunset but shortly before six o'clock several Robins took off and flew due North, then flock after flock of 10-20 birds followed. The birds were still leaving at dusk.
Was a sunny afternoon in the sixties. Slight winds from west.
It is a clear night. Now 59 ,temps expected to dip to low forties, winds wnw 5-10 mph.
