There are at least a couple hundred of Robins who decided to spend the winter in Rimouski (300 km. north of Quebec City).
But things are going bad for them now (2/12).
They have been eating «Sorbus americana» since the beginning of winter and they seem healthy. But 2-3 weeks ago many Bohemian Waxwing ate all the fruits of «Sorbus americana». And since 7-10 days ago, the weather has been very cold (maximum less than -15 celcius (+ 5 fahreinheit).
The result is that many of them already died (i found 4 of them only by myself) and many of the remaining ones don't seem to be very healthy.
Here is a picture of part of the bunch of 75 that I am reporting eating «sea buckthorn», a fruit of last resort for them where i live.
